A native of western NY and the daughter of two schoolteachers, Angela’s approach to music is studied yet natural. Her songs deal with everyday issues such as disappointment and gratitude, self-doubt and self-involvement, shyness and the shattering of illusions; but also touch upon larger subject matter, like the mechanization and digitization of the world and the necessity of questioning political authority.
