Sweden Stuff! Elektron released an prototype of the "Machinedrum" a new 808 / 909 Style Drum Machine. But not really a clone. It have his own charakter. And looks not bad.

The Price is about 1.000 USD.

Yeah,I remember reading about it in a FM issue im really lookin forward to it ifits seriously good i'll proberly end up sellin my 808/909 n have some extra cash for other gear.

I dont mind if its all sorta' elektro sounding, as long as its got the balls to make massive kick's and some decent sounding Maracas, or somethin that works well with ambience.

Noise rules! Filter it, sample it, use it, noise is your friend. I hate all this clean sounding VA shit, I love the Sidstations noise, and my DX100 is well noisy too, fucking great!

Fuck noise to the power of 10. The Boss Metal Zone distortion pedal probably offers the best kind of distortion for the TB-303, but it's the bloody noise it produces that made me get the OS-2 instead.
