The Bored are a shoegazing version of Arab Strap.
They are composed of instrumentalist Philip Bolton and vocalist/programmer Dan Shea.
The band were formed in April 2006 for a bet. So far an entire album has been scrapped, leaving only 3 tracks. The rest of the album was recorded in a day.
The songs are written via email, with lyrics sent to the guitarist.
